What will future work look like for you?

Everyone has characteristics that make them unique. Different people have different combinations of interests, aptitudes, and skills.

This job explorer tool has been designed to identify some of your career interests and aptitudes. It is not a fully detailed assessment — while you may have stronger interests in some areas than in others, you may also find that you can relate to more than one.

Ruswin have two apprenticeships on offer.
We offer trades in two disciplines - Locksmithing and Electronic Security. Both trades are highly respected vocations, and the security industry is growing at a rapid rate, with no shortage of work opportunities. Ruswin has an excellent reputation, and we excel at producing some of the best apprentices in Australia, with two having won Australian Apprentice of the Year!
Both trades require students who are dedicated to further learning, as the apprenticeship is combined with on-the-job experience and attendance at TAFE in Brisbane to become trade qualified over a four-year period. Ideally, we are looking for people who enjoy working with their hands, who like to problem solve and have a high attention to detail in the work that they do. We are seeking both female and male applicants for these roles and I would encourage all suitable students who are looking for a trade to apply.
Applications can be submitted two ways:
  1. Resume and Cover letter to   OR
  2. Apply directly to the job advertisement via the MEGT website (preferred option):
    1. Locksmith Technician
    2. Electronics - Security Equipment Technician
Applicants who apply via email must nominate the position they are applying for - we have several positions advertised at the current time.
